Stoughton Man Shot by Police Found Guilty of Assault
The conviction follows a two-day trial.

STOUGHTON, MA - A jury has found a Stoughton man guilty of attacking a police officer with a knife.
Cannon Dawson was convicted of assault and battery on a police officer, assault with a dangerous weapon and disorderly conduct following a two-day trial, according to the Enterprise.
In February 2015, Dawson was shot by the officer after charging him with a knife following a foot chase on Central Street.
