January 12

12:24 a.m. - A 26-year-old woman from Stoughton on Avalon Street received a summons for operating with a suspended license, operating a motor vehicle with defective equipment, and failure to keep left of a vehicle traveling in the same direction.

7:22 p.m. -Following a two-car crash near McDonald’s on Washington Street, Auriane Lopes, 35, of Waltham, was arrested and charged with operating under the influence of liquor, unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle, reckless operation of a motor vehicle, marked lanes violation, and leaving the scene of a crash after property damage.

8:22 p.m. - A caller at Stop & Shop on Washington Street told police that someone stole her pocketbook from her vehicle and left in a white vehicle heading towards Canton.

January 17

8:47 p.m. - Police made an arrest at Target on Hawes Way for shoplifting by asportation, disorderly conduct, and assault and battery on a police officer.
