Stoughton Police: Man Arrested After Banging on Door Late at Night

Thursday, Nov. 20
At 9:13 a.m., a woman was caught shoplifting with her children at Stop & Shop. She will be summonsed.

At 3:05 p.m., a resident reported items missing from her home.
At 6:57 p.m., a caller reported seeing a campfire at the edge of Glen Oak Lake. The parties were advised and sent home.

Saturday, Nov. 22
At 12 p.m., a caller reported a husky in her yard. She was concerned the dog would get into the enclosed area for her pigs. The dog’s owner was notified.
At 6:08 p.m., a caller stated he was stuck in elevator 7 at Ikea.
Sunday, Nov. 23
At 12 a.m., a caller reported someone banging on the residence’s door. Officers arrested Joshua Starobin, 27, of Stoughton. He was charged with disorderly conduct, disturbing the peace, B&E building nighttime to commit a felony and attempt to commit a crime.
At 4:01 p.m., a cab driver reported he was called to pick up a woman at Stoughton Motel. When he arrived, he witnessed a woman attempt to leave a hotel room and then be pulled back inside by someone. She was eventually able to leave and run to the cab. Police arrived and arrested Lionel Roy, 51, on charges of assault and battery on a family member or member of the household.
