Stoughton Rapper And Brother Face Drug, Gun Charges

STOUGHTON, MA — A well known Stoughton rapper and his brother were arrested after police said they found fentanyl, methamphetamine, a sawed off shotgun and another illegally owned gun. Donald Saladin, 26, known in rap circles as Don Trag, was charged with trafficking fentanyl, possession with intent to distribute a class B substance and possession of a firearm without a license to carry. His brother Gladly Saladin, 28, was charged with possession of a sawed shotgun possession of a firearm with an obliterated serial number, possession of a firearm with and FID card, trafficking fentanyl and possession of ammunition without a license.

On Wednesday morning, Stoughton police and ATF officials got a warrant and searched the brothers' home on Walnut Avenue. Police said they found a sawed off shotgun, and a .45 caliber handgun with ammunition. The shotgun's serial number was obliterated, according to police.

Police said they also seized 36 grams of fentanyl and four grams of methamphetamine.

"This operation was handled remarkably well and as a result no one was injured," Lt. John Bonney wrote the department's Facebook. "We are thankful to our Federal Law Enforcement partners for continued communication and support that allow us to keep our streets safer."

The brothers were scheduled to be arraigned in Stoughton District Court Thursday.
