Stoughton Woman Acquitted Of Elder Abuse Charge Due To Lack Of Evidence
The decision came following a week-long trial in Norfolk Superior Court in Dedham.

STOUGHTON, MA — A Stoughton woman charged with abusing her 75-year-old aunt has been acquitted.
Following a one-week trial Sandra Lucien-Calixte, 51, there was not enough evidence for a conviction, Norfolk District Attorney spokesman David Traub told the Boston Globe.
In 2014, Stoughton police found a 75-year-old woman in a basement bedroom with the thermostat off and the temperature measuring at about 51 degrees, police said. The woman reportedly had bed sores that exposed bone and was reportedly dehydrated and malnourished.
