Two Arrested Following Chase From Brockton to Stoughton

Police say the vehicle was traveling at 80 mph.

BROCKTON, MA — Two people were arrested following a high-speed chase through Brockton that ended in Stoughton, police said.

Holly Lynn Marshall, 28, of Brockton, was charged with failing to stop for police, speeding and reckless operation of a motor vehicle and Jamal Terence Benjamin, 26, of Boston, was arrested on two warrants.

Brockton Lt. William Hallisey told the Enterprise that officers in an unmarked cruiser on West Street observed a vehicle with Marshall and Benjamin allegedly traveling 80 mph. Marked cruisers chased the vehicle towards Route 24 and Stoughton, allegedly weaving between vehicles before stopping on Park Street.

Both were scheduled to be arraigned in Brockton District Court Monday.
