A woman at a rehab facility faces charges after allegedly attacking police officers trying to remove her from the building.

STOUGHTON, MA — A woman at a rehab facility faces charges after allegedly attacking police officers trying to remove her from the building.

Athena Harrington, 29, of Dorchester, was arrested and charged with assault and battery on a police officer, knowingly misleading police, trespassing, and resisting arrest, according to the Stoughton Police Log.

At 6:11 p.m. Sunday, a caller at the Andrew House on Sumner Street reported a person making threats towards the staff. After police arrived, Harrington allegedly attacked the responding officers. A request for more officers was made, according to the police log.

Harrington is due in Stoughton District Court July 24, the court's office of the clerk told the Enterprise.
