MIDDLESEX COUNTY, MA—Ann Wofford grew up in western Massachusetts and graduated with a BS in chemical engineering from Cornell University. She lives with her husband and children in Haverhill, where she's lived for 12 years.

Wofford is challenging incumbent democrat Niki Tsongas for the third congressional seat for Massachusetts. The third district includes Marlborough and parts of Sudbury, as well as towns in Worcester and Essex Counties.
