9/11: Fifteen Years Later, Are We Any Safer? Class Offered In Sudbury

SUDBURY, MA — Following 9/11, the United States embarked on a program of national security not seen before, and a new level of awareness took hold. But, are we any safer?

"From the involvement in the two longest running wars in American history in Afghanistan and Iraq, to the creation of a new security apparatus named the Office of Homeland Security, we have invested billions of dollars and cost the lives of thousands of American service personnel to make us safer. Has it been a successful effort?" That's the question that is addressed as part of a four-week course offered at the Sudbury Senior Center.

The instructor is John Ambacher, PhD., JD., professor emeritus at Framingham State University.

The class takes place on March 1, 8, 15, 22 at 10 a.m. Cost of class is $35.
