SUDBURY, MA — A dozen roads in Sudbury will be paved next week as part of the town's annual paving project.
Town paving contractor Sunshine Paving will start work Monday on the roads included in the 2026 Annual Paving Project, according to the Sudbury Department of Public Works. The work will affect Austin Road, Ford Road, Hammond Circle, Harvard Drive, Hayden Circle, Hobart Road, Lafayette Drive, Revere Street, Revolutionary Road, Ruddock Road, Washington Drive and Concord Road from 197 Concord Road to Hudson Road.
Paving dates are subject to change, the DPW said.
Residents on the affected streets should expect delays if hot asphalt is placed across their driveways. The pavement needs about 30 to 45 minutes to cool before vehicles drive over it, according to the department.
Driving on the pavement too soon may leave tire tracks, the DPW said.
