SUDBURY, MA — Sudbury residents will be able to watch upcoming FIFA World Cup games on a big screen during two free watch parties at the Fairbank Community Center.
Sudbury Park and Recreation will host the events Saturday, July 18 at 4:30 p.m. and Sunday, July 19 at 2:30 p.m. at the community center, 40 Fairbank Road, according to the town.
The watch parties are free and open to the public. The town said the events will include multiple screens, climate control, seating and free snacks and refreshments.
The events are family-friendly, but children cannot be dropped off without supervision, according to the town. Soccer balls and goals will be available in the gym for children during the events.
