SUDBURY, MA — Drivers should expect traffic restrictions on Concord Road as paving work continues Friday.
Sunshine Paving will begin work at 7 a.m. Aug. 7, according to the Sudbury Department of Public Works. One southbound lane will remain open from Hudson Road while all northbound traffic will be detoured.
The work is part of Sudbury's annual paving project, which covers Concord Road from 197 Concord Road to Hudson Road along with several other local streets.
An earlier Concord Road closure between Old Lancaster Road and Hudson Road was scheduled in July for roadway repairs before being postponed and rescheduled.
Roadwork dates are subject to change. Fresh pavement may need 30 to 45 minutes to cool before vehicles can safely pass, according to DPW.
