Once open, more than 250 forensic professionals will work under one roof, potentially changing where evidence from Sudbury cases is processed while aiming to speed up testing and modernize lab capabilities statewide.
4. Press Release Massachusetts Delivers Specialized Training to Prepare Firefighters for Building Collapses and Major Emergencies (mass.gov) — Sudbury firefighters were among more than two dozen departments completing an intensive eight-day Structural Collapse Rescue Technician course that wrapped up October 5. The state-run training in Bridgewater teaches rescuers how to safely reach people trapped in collapsed buildings, lift heavy debris, and stabilize damaged structures, strengthening Sudbury's ability to respond to rare but high-risk emergencies.
