Lifeguards Wanted

The Belknap Pool & Tennis Club opened in 1958. The club is quietly nestled on secluded woodlands at 351 Belknap Road, Framingham. The Belknap pool is a private club owned and maintained by its member families who elect the Board of Directors of the Framingham Swimming Pool Association (FSPA) to oversee the club's operations.

The Belknap Pool & Tennis Club is seeking lifeguards for its 2017 summer season. Applicants must be responsible, energetic and enjoy working with children!

Responsibilities include:

• Scans the area of surveillance to make sure that patrons are safe and behaving according to the rules.
• Inspects the aquatic facility for unsafe conditions and cleanliness to prevent accidents and reports any hazards to the supervisor.
• Acts in emergency situations and provides rescue and first aid assistance up to his or her training level until medical personnel arrive.
• Enforces pool rules consistently and fairly.
• Fills out reports for incidents or other records for reference.
• Interacts politely with facility patrons and acts as a role model for young children.

• Assist with member sign in as needed
• Reports to Senior Lifeguard and/or Pool Director
• Hours: Flexible Full and Part-time options available.
• Salary $10-12 / hour based on experience/certifications.
• Additional earnings potential with swim lesson instruction

Qualifications:

• Lifeguard certification (completed by start date)
• First aid
