Boston Restaurant Associates moves commissary from Charlestown to Woburn
Regina Pizzeria and Polcari's pizza dough to be made in new 7,500-square-foot facility
August 1, 2014 -- After more than 20 years in Charlestown, Boston Restaurant Associates, Inc.—parent company of Polcari’s Italian Restaurant and Regina Pizzeria—is relocating its commissary to 48 Cummings Park in Woburn. The firm’s corporate offices, currently located in Lynnfield, will also be incorporated into the new location.
Boston Restaurant Associates will make the pizza dough for its more than 20 locations at the new 7,553-square-foot facility, formerly home to Titterington’s Bake Shop and CSM Bakery.
Cummings Properties account manager Maureen Brennan worked directly with Boston Restaurant Associates to develop the lease. According to Brennan, the new executive office space was a bonus; the driving force behind the relocation was the need for a new long-term space for the commissary.

“The existing infrastructure of the former bakery site, along with a significant custom buildout by our in-house design and construction teams, made 48 Cummings Park the perfect location,” said Brennan. “We are so pleased to provide a home for this iconic Boston company.”
The custom buildout for Boston Restaurant Associates includes a new epoxy floor and specialized heating and air conditioning equipment. Construction is anticipated to be complete mid-September.
