Accessible Trick-or-Treat Saturday, October 31 | 5:00–7:00 PM Meadowbrook Circle &amp; Meadowbrook Road, Sudbury
All children and families are invited to join Sudbury neighbors and the Town of Sudbury Commission on Disability for its fourth annual Accessible Trick-or-Treat, a community Halloween celebration designed so that more children can participate and enjoy the fun.&nbsp;
Everyone is welcome! The event includes some simple accessibility features that can make traditional trick-or-treating easier for children with disabilities, food allergies, sensory needs, and other accessibility needs, including:
-&nbsp;Accessible treat stations at or near the end of driveways -&nbsp;Edible and non-edible treat choices -&nbsp;A sensory-conscious environment without strobe lights or sudden high-pitched noises -&nbsp;Inclusive communication;&nbsp;there is no requirement to say “trick or treat” or “thank you” -&nbsp;A welcoming experience for all ages and abilities
No registration is required, and costumes are welcome but not required. Come anytime between 5:00 and 7:00 PM.
Please bring a bag or bucket and consider bringing a flashlight, as the neighborhood does not have streetlights.
Parking: Please park only on the side of the street without a sidewalk so the sidewalk remains clear and accessible for children and families.

Goodnow Library

Gateway Camera Club is excited to announce the opening of their premiere photo exhibit at the Goodnow Library on 21 Concord Road, Sudbury, MA. The exhibit will open on Sunday, November 1st and extend through the end of the month. You’re welcome to view the exhibit anytime during regular library hours.
The exhibit will feature up to 35 framed images, captured by local photographers. Stunning shots of nature, majestic landscapes, architectural eccentricities, creative conceptual art, and more will be on display.
A special “Meet the Artists’ Reception” is scheduled for Saturday, November 21st from 2 to 4 PM in the Library’s meeting room. It’s a great time to view the exhibit, talk photography with exhibitors, and learn more about the Gateway Camera Club. Light refreshments will be served.
Founded in 1962, Gateway Camera Club continues to provide an informal, friendly, and supportive environment for photographers of all levels. The club embraces a wide range of photographic styles, techniques and interests.

Join us for Those Who Came Before with Minister-in-Residence Aiden McMahon, as we honor and acknowledge the threefold observances of All Hallows, All Saints, and All Souls’ Day, as well as the Pagan observance of Samhain. Join us for an uplifting evening with Rabbi Yitzchak Schochet of the UK, one of the most sought after speakers in the Jewish World, who will share a powerful and uplifting message, as we explore&nbsp;Jewish teachings and ideas with the theme of Turning Oy To Joy even in a&nbsp;world full of challenges.
Rabbi Schochet is also celebrating the launch of his new book Joyful Living as he returns to Sudbury for his second Lecture, with his first one being standing room only.
Rabbi Schochet has lectured across the world and has appeared frequently on BBC, CNN, LBC and many other platforms.&nbsp;He is currently the longest serving Rabbi in the United Synagogue in the UK

Picture-maker Polina Plotnikova takes a classic, traditional subject and turns it on its head as she explores unconventional techniques that bring illusion, reflection, shadow, and movement into the frame.
Expect plenty of image-based case studies breaking down exactly how each technique works, alongside behind-the-scenes photos and videos so you can see the setups in action. If you love the idea of creating something surprising and painterly straight out of the camera, this one’s for you.
Polina is a full-time photographer and a Fellow of the Royal Photographic Society with many national and international awards. Her favorite photographic subjects are flower portraiture and still life.
