Amory's Tomb Brewing Company of Maynard will serve trios of favorite seasonal beers and Ye' Olde Farm Stand of Sudbury will serve up hot dogs with all the fixin’s (vegetarian options included). The Red Horse Oldtime Duo returns to play lively fiddle and mandolin music. Each ticket includes: One beer (a single or a flight), 2 hot dogs, generous apps, snacks, and soft drinks. Additional beer and hot dogs will be available for purchase at the door. There will also be generous apps, mocktails, and plenty of other soft drinks available throughout the event.
We’re also planning some other fun activities such as the Masskrugtemmen, or beer stein holding contest, borrowed from Bavaria during Oktoberfest. Choose a partner and sign up to compete while raising funds for SVT!
DID YOU KNOW, that with SVT's planned Masskrugstemmen (Steinholding Competition), the Beer in the Barn event is now a qualifying competition location for the U.S. Steinholding Association's Massachusetts Steinholding State Championship?! State Finals will be held in October in Framingham this year. You've got to come to Beer in the Barn and try your hand (or arm) at the contest. SO MUCH FUN! And all for a good cause protecting the environment.
