Chris Evans Shows Appreciation To Concord Police With A Visit
Concord police officers on Wednesday night's evening shift were surprised to see Captain America himself hanging out in the station.

CONCORD, MA — Concord police officers and dispatchers on Wednesday's evening shift were in for a big surprise when Captain America himself paid the station a visit. That's right, Chris Evans made time to show appreciation for the boys in blue while he was in town.
Evans, a Sudbury native, never seems to get tired of showing his home state plenty of love, popping up all over the Commonwealth and surprising fans — he even showed up to his high school reunion in May with a name tag that simply read, Chris. This time, he decided to give thanks to Concord police and dispatchers in person.
The department posted photos from the evening with this caption:

"When our shifts begin we never know what will happen or who we may meet. It was great to have Chris Evans stop by our station and say hello and express his appreciation of our Officers and Public Safety Dispatchers."
The officers and Evans, who donned a Red Sox cap (as he should), were all smiles. The "Avengers" star even took the time to get a separate photo with one of the dispatchers, who the department said is a "super fan."
It's unclear if Evans was filming in the area or was just taking in the sites of the historic town and decided to stop in the police station. Evans has been filming in other towns throughout the summer for his new series "Defending Jacob." He's been spotted filming in Newton, Belmont and Worcester.
