EPA to Receive Comments on Proposed Clean Water Protection Rule

EPA's regional administrator in New England attends an event on the Sudbury River.

EPA’s Regional Administrator in New England, Curt Spalding, will attend an event on the Sudbury River on Friday, Oct. 3, to receive thousands of written comments on and to highlight EPA’s recent efforts to protect Massachusetts’ streams and wetlands.

State and local leaders will be in attendance. Among leaders are Sen. Jamie Eldridge, Sen. Carolyn Dykema, Undersecretary for the Environment Martin Suuberg, Becky Smith from the Clean Water Action Massachusetts and Alison Field-Juma from OARS for the Assabet, Sudbury and Concord rivers.

The leaders will address thousands of citizen letters to highlight the Waters on the U.S. proposed rule and importance of clean water in Massachusetts.
