Carol Stocker, The Boston Globe

This is our annual joint meeting with the Sudbury Garden Club.  It will be held in the Fellowship Hall at the Presbyterian Church, 330 Concord Road, Sudbury.

Carol Stocker has been a Boston Globe garden writer for 30 years and is a three time winner of the Garden Writer’s Association award for the best newspaper garden column in America.  She has appeared regularly on “Greater Boston with Emily Rooney”, WGBH-TV, and NECN.  She will entertain us with stories about how she went from covering murders in Detroit to garden writing for the Boston Globe, including tales of garden world celebrities she has interviewed, from Martha Stewart to Tasha Tudor, renowned children’s book illustrator.  Carol has also published a book, The Boston Globe Illustrated New England Garden Almanac.
