Thursday Garden Club Visits the Mass Horticultural Society Gardens

The Thursday garden club of Sudbury will meet on Thursday, September 13th at the Goodnow Library, 21 Concord Rd Sudbury from 9:30-10:15.  We will then carpool to the Mass Horticultural Society 900 Washington St. Wellesley for and 11:00-12:00 tour of their beautiful gardens.

The Thursday Garden Club sponsors monthly meetings in flower arranging, horticulture, and landscape design, provides scholarship money for a graduating L-S senior, and participates in a number of beautification projects in Sudbury, including the Daffodil Trail, community traffic island gardens, town center and Hosmer House holiday decorations, Grinell Park clean-ups, and much more.  Founded in 1951 and a member of the Garden Club Federation of Massachusetts, The Thursday Garden Club meets the second Thursday of each month from September to May.  Call Ellen at 978-261-5178 for meeting or membership information or, for more information on current club activities, visit www.thethursdaygardenclub.com.
