Wooly Ways in Olden Days: A Sheep Shearing and Old Fashioned Textile Demonstration Event

Come to Longfellow's Wayside Inn for an old-fashioned sheep-shearing and early textiles demonstration for the whole family on Sunday, May 20 from 11:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.

Demonstrations will include sheep shearing, colonial clothing, carding and dyeing, spinning, flax processing, lace making, weaving and more.  

No reservations are required.  No dogs please.

This fun and FREE event is presented by the Museum Services Department at Longfellow's Wayside Inn; The Boston Area Spinners and Dyers; The American Textile History Museum in Lowell; as well as a variety of other area experts trained in these vanishing crafts.
