LETTER: 'She Never Seems To Stop'
This Sudbury resident is strongly endorsing two candidates for school committee.

SUDBURY, MA — I am writing to the community to publicly lend my support for Christine Hogan as re-election candidate to the Sudbury Public Schools school committee. I have seen Christine work tirelessly for our community, for our children, and fight for what she believes in, always with respect for others and with knowledgeable, clear thinking. Every school committee meeting I have attended, I know she has spent time reviewing documents and agenda items, preparing her points, and always has contributions to make. She consistently challenges issues when she does not agree, standing her ground. She is not afraid to drive her points and not be shut down by another member who also may have a strong opinion. She negotiates and compromises as she sees fit, and I truly trust her judgment, and admire her tenacity. She has raised questions around the budget, has worked to deliver a plan that is built in reality, that is sustainable and that considers the big picture with respect to other challenges and threats to town funding. I have seen her press for more accountability and progress in the K-8 curriculum, and she follows up when issues are not answered to her liking.
Not only is Christine vested as a school committee member, she is fully vested in family, schools and education in general. I have seen her over and over again get involved in so many school events to support not only her kids, but others. Whether it is to support the music efforts at elementary or middle school with her piano playing, to attending far away school trips (Washington D.C.!) to support the music/band orchestra efforts, she is there. She is engaging and works well with people. She never seems to stop. I love that she has passion not only for her own children and their well-being, but she has shown over and over her passion to guide and help make our collective children successful. Christine has my vote.
