Meet The Sudbury Candidates

Know more about those running for town election.

SUDBURY, MA — The League of Women Voters of Sudbury is holding its 61st annual Candidates’ Night Wednesday, March 15, for candidates running for 13 town and school committee seats.

Candidates’ Night takes place in the auditorium at Lincoln-Sudbury Regional High School, 390 Lincoln Road. The program starts at 7:30 p.m., with a chance to meet the candidates starting at 7:15 p.m. The event is free and open to the public.

The election is Monday, March 27, and polls will be open from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m.

Candidates’ Night features questions for the four candidates in the only contested race, for Sudbury School Committee (K-8), said the announcement. There will also be a panel presentation for candidates in the uncontested races.

Questions for Sudbury Public School Committee candidates may be submitted in advance by email to sudburycandidatesnight@gmail.com until 5 p.m. Tuesday, March 14, or in person before the program begins on March 15.

Candidates’ Night will be shown live on Sudbury cable local access Channel 8 (Comcast) and Channel 31 (Verizon) and will be repeated several times before the election. The program will also be available on the station’s website, www.sudburytv.org, as a video-on-demand option.
