More Than $10K Raised In Memory Of L-S High School Student Who Died In March

SUDBURY, MA—Brett Michael Donald “Tex” Kachura, a 17-year-old junior at Lincoln-Sudbury Regional High School, passed away unexpectedly at home on March 31 of this year.

He was born in Temple, TX, and while he lived in Sudbury, his family says his heart was always in Texas. A former Boy Scout, he also played baseball and football in Sudbury.

The family established a GoFundMe campaign in his name, with money used to establish a memorial scholarship in Kachura's name.
