Renowned Doctor on ADHD Charged With Groping Woman

The noted doctor is facing charges of indecent assault.

A Sudbury psychiatrist is facing charges that he allegedly groped a woman.

Dr. Edward M. Hallowell, who is known for his work in attention deficit disorder, was charged with indecent assault, reported WCVB-TV, and accused of squeezing the buttocks of a makeup artist.

The incident allegedly occurred last October, when the made-up artist was on the scene of an interview videotaping at Harvard Medical School, where Hallowell instructs, said WCVB-TV.

Hallowell is a child and adult psychiatrist, and a world-renowned speaker. An authority on ADHD, he is the founder of the Hallowell Centers in Sudbury, and also wrote two books on the subject.
