Shrewsbury Student Charged With Threat to Assumption College

A former student of Assumption, who expressed sympathy for a mass murderer, is charged with 'threatening literature.'

A Shrewsbury resident, and former student of Assumption, was arraigned in Worcester Superior Court on charges of submitting threats to Assumption College, reports the Worcester Telegram and Gazette.

The letters, reportedly written by Kevin Forts, 25, of Shrewsbury, indicated that violence would occur that day at the college. Forts had previously gotten attention for sympathizing with mass killer Anders Behring Breivik in an interview with a Norwegian newspaper.

In September of 2011, police were called to Assumption College to look at documents that were deemed “threatening literature.”
