Sudbury Candidates Pitch Voters In TV Candidates' Forum
The 64th annual League of Women Voters Sudbury candidates' forum is available to watch now.

SUDBURY, MA — The first TV-only League of Women Voters of Sudbury candidates' forum is now ready to watch.
For 2020, the LWV opted to tape a forum between Select Board candidates Patricia Brown and Charles Russo rather than hold a live event. That's the only contested race in Sudbury this year. All other people running in races in 2020 taped statements that will air alongside the forum.
The hour-long forum, where Russo and Brown discussed issues like the Sewataro property and a new community center, is airing now on Sudbury TV channel 8 for Comcast subscribers, and channel 31 for Verizon subscribers. It's also available on-demand at the SudburyTV website, www.sudburytv.org.

"This videotaped format provides more time for candidates in contested races to address the issues facing Sudbury than our previous live forums," LWV voter service chair Nell Forgacs said in a news release. "We encourage you to watch the programs. Consider holding a forum watch party!"
There are 12 positions up for election in 2020, and the election will be held on March 30.
