Sudbury Conservation Commission Gets Increase In Calls About Wetlands

SUDBURY, MA—The Conservation Commission has been particularly busy in the past several months, seeing an increase in calls to its office about wetlands on residential properties, according to a recent announcement.
"We appreciate the responsibility homeowners take prior to undertaking projects that may be within
wetland jurisdiction or that may require a wetlands permit," writes Kirsten Roopenian, ConservationDepartment. "Our office is happy to help you ascertain what permits (if any) would be
required on any project."

The department has introduced an updated Wetland Brochure, and encourages citizens to call if there is any doubt whether your home may have jurisdictional requirements.
