SUDBURY, MA — Roche Bros. will hold a grand opening celebration in Sudbury this month after rebranding a former Sudbury Farms location.

The store at 439 Boston Post Rd, which remained open during a remodel, will celebrate under the Roche Bros. banner on Jun 13 and Jun 14 with product sampling and giveaways for the first 50 people each day. Former Boston Bruins player Ray Bourque is scheduled to attend from 9 to 10:30 a.m. Jun 13 for autographs and photos with the first 100 people.

The company said it is updating the names of its two Sudbury Farms locations to Roche Bros. when the stores are remodeled to align with its brand and shopping experience.

The Sudbury Farms stores have been operated with the same commitment to quality, service and community as Roche Bros. locations, according to the company. The company said products on the shelves are Roche Bros.-branded, the weekly circular features the Roche Bros. name and shopping bags already reflect the brand.

Roche Bros. also said it surveyed local residents and found the name change was not a significant concern. The update aligns the store name with the shopping experience customers already know, according to the company.
