SUDBURY, MA — A popular fitness spot in Sudbury is expanding.
Duddy Performance is moving to a larger facility at 33 Union Ave. The new facility comes after a growth in membership, the business's owner, Liza Duddy, said.
The woman-owned small-group and personal-training gym said it serves more than 200 athletes and community members from all age groups. There are also eight certified coaches.

Duddy Performance said that, with this expansion, it hopes to expand its youth athlete training programs and adult small-group classes in Sudbury and the surrounding communities.
Since opening in 2021, Duddy Performance has added small-group training, expanding its offerings to adults of all ages and abilities. That programming led to the gym’s first expansion at its Boston Post Road location, which grew to take up two levels.

Duddy said she is so excited that the business needs to move.
“The growth we’ve seen and the support from Sudbury residents and neighboring communities have been incredible,” Duddy said. “Helping people every day is why we do this, and I’m proud of the amazing team we’ve built. We work with more than 200 people and, in our new space, I’m so happy we can extend our reach.”
She began her coaching career at The Fieldhouse on Union Ave, where she worked for four years before coaching independently and then ultimately following her dream to open Duddy Performance.
She has completed 17 marathons, including ones in Boston, Chicago, Maine and Maine Corps, as well as ultramarathons of over 50 miles in length.
The newly expanded business will host a grand opening and ribbon-cutting ceremony on April 10 from 5 to 8 p.m. There will be food, tours of the facility and an opportunity to meet the coaches
Duddy Performance offers classes seven days a week from 5:15 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. There are various membership options available for in-person and personal training and in-person small group training.
