Brewers 10, Pirates 10-May 7
The Brewers and Pirates played to a 10-10 tie in a hard fought game. For the Brewers, Michael Cavanaugh pitched three strong innings, with Shane George and Jack Ginand combining to finish the game. Offensively, Ryan Provencher hit his second home run of the season. Jack Dorsey and Teddy Durant each had two hits, while Adam Bradford, Andrew Neeser, and Grant Bordner each had a hit. Cavanaugh and Ginand both scored two runs. For the Pirates, Griffin Brown and Jonah Krasnow pitched two strong innings each. Drew Nobile came in for the last 2 1/3 innings with a very strong finish, holding the Brewers scoreless in the last inning. Offensively, Krasnow (3H, RBI, 2R), Max Scribner (2H) led the way at the plate, with Matt Ray, Griffin Brown and Hayden Donley each having a hit to contribute as well. Two runs scored apiece for Nobile, Ray, Krasnow and Brown.

Brewers 8, Red Sox 6-May 10
The Brewers beat the Red Sox 8-6 in a well-played game. The Brewers were headed by strong pitching from Trevor Melz, Michael Cavanaugh, Jack Dorsey, and Jack Ginand. Offensively, Dorsey (2 2B’s, R) and Andrew Neeser (3B, SF) led the way. Grant Bordner, Ryan Provencher, Nathan Keilen, and Adam Bradford each had a hit. The Brewers scored 5 runs in the bottom of the 5th inning to pull ahead 8-6, giving them the win. The Red Sox had strong performances by pitchers Anil Lele and Mark DiStefano. Each player threw lots of strikes and kept the Brewers hitters off balance. James Agabedis (2B, 3B) had quite the day at the plate, while Wilson Sneath and Mark DiStefano each had hits as well.

Orioles 9, Brewers 3-May 12
The Orioles beat the Brewers 9-3 in a competitive game. Jack Dorsey (3IP, 2R, 6K’s) pitched strongly for the Brewers. Michael Cavanaugh and Teddy Durant combined to pitch the final three innings. Offensively, Ryan Provencher hit his third home run of the season. Jack Ginand (2H) and Teddy Durant (2H) had very good days at the plate as well. Defensively, Andrew Neeser and Trevor Melz played well in this tough game. For the Orioles, Luca Nicastro tripled to lead off the 5th inning and later scored his second run of the day. In addition, Nate Nickerson (2 2B’s, 1B), Ethan Minkoff (2H) were key contributors at the plate. Phil Cass and Finn Garrity each also singled. Johny Oblak made several great defensive plays from the mound to prevent the Brewers from getting a rally started. Pitchers Jacob Noyes and Nickerson (6 K's) combined for 6 strong innings, holding the Brewers to 3 runs.
Phillies 11, Red Sox 9-May 14
The Phillies scored two runs in the 5th inning and one in the 6th to beat the
Red Sox 11-9 in a close contest. Offensively, the Red Sox were led by the strong bats of Liam Shaughnessy (2B, 1B), Jason Mead (2H) and Wilson Sneath (4H, 3R). Mead pitched two nice innings as well. John Farren and James Agabedis also had nice outings on the hill, and Devon Verma did an excellent job behind the plate. The Phillies offense was led by James Cook (2H) and Asher Martin Rosenthal (2H). Charlie Murphy, Will Canavan, AJ Childs and Cook all pitched great for the Phillies.
Angels 4, Cardinals 3-May 16
The Angels had an exciting come from behind walk off win over the Cardinals, 4-3, in a rain-shortened game on Friday. The Angels led 1-0 after 3 innings, when the Cardinals put up 3 runs in the top of the 4th. The Cardinals Ryan Richards (4K’s, 1 BB) and Connor Peek (3K’s, 1 BB) had strong pitching outings, neither of which surrendered an earned run. The Angels did not back down though when they were down in this game. Their comeback was triggered by some disciplined at-bats from Owen Madigan and Chris Streillen, each reaching base to contribute to the hard fought victory. Coming up clutch in the end with the bases loaded, Teddy Smith drove in the winning runs with a double. The Angels got a balanced pitching effort from LG Bascones (3 K’s), Jack Maclean and Max Martin, holding the Cardinals to three runs. The solid pitching performances were supported by a good defensive effort, led by Jack Urdang and George Curry. Cole Pathak was also very strong behind the plate, catching through tough weather conditions. Offensively, Peek and Sammy Zhou contributed with hits for the Cardinals.
Indians 12, Angels 8-May 17
Despite an offensive show for the Angels' Teddy Smith who contributed 2 HR, including a grand slam, the Indians were able to defeat the Angels 12-8. Ralph Babcock made a great catch in the bottom of sixth off of a solid drive by Max Martin to preserve the win. On the mound, Dom Garzone (3 IP 3K's), Jacob Leverone (1 1/3 IP, 1K) and Skyler Bordiuk (1 2/3 IP, 2K's) led the way. Offensively, Leverone (2 2B's) and Brett Siegal each had three hits, with Jimmy O'Connor (2B) and Kyle Hankey each adding two hits. Julian Flack also was a key contributor offensively. Stephen Kossuth had a nice defensive game with multiple putouts. The Angels offense got going in the 1st inning when Owen Madigan walked, and later scored on Teddy Smith's first HR. The Angels got the offense going again in the 5th inning as Blake Pailler led off with a single and was followed by some timely hitting from George Curry (1H, RBI), and Jack Hallal (1H, RBI). Despite a difficult 2nd inning, the Angels pitching was solid for the remainder of the game when Cole Pathak (2 1/3 IP, 2K’s) and Jack Urdang (2 2/3 IP, 2K’s) came in for relief.
Cardinals 17, White Sox 5-May 17
The Cardinals defeated the White Sox, 17-5 in a hard fought game. Eric Feng & Dylan Goldman each had strong outings on the mound for the Cardinals, recording 5K’s each. Ben Boraks closed out the game on the mound. Offensively, Feng (3H, 3RBI, 4R), Connor Peek (2 2B’s, 4RBI) and Weston Jones (2H, 4R) led the way for the Cardinals. Defensively for the Cardinals, Will Fama made a nice catch in left as well. For the White Sox, Joe Mepham (2B, RBI, R), Andrew Cahill (1B, R) and Matt Joachim (1B, R) all had solid days at the plate. Mepham pitched 2 innings, Will Titus Pitched 1 1/3 innings and Cahill pitched 2 2/3 innings with 4 K's.
Phillies 26, Brewers 8-May 17
The Phillies offense was hitting on all cylinders in a 26-8 victory over the Brewers. Robbie O’Connor (3H), Chris Williams (3H), Justin Lombardi (3H), Will Canavan (3H) and Will Maillet led the offensive attack for the Phillies. Tino Tamburrini, AJ Childs and Canavan were terrific in the field making many great catches. The Brewers offense was hitting the ball hard as well with Teddy Durant and 5th grader Nathan Keilen hitting back to back home runs. Mark Dorsey also added two hits for the Brewers.
Red Sox 9, Cardinals 11-May 18
The Red Sox and the Cardinals played an exciting game, with the Cardinals coming out on top 11-9 in extra innings. Wilson Sneath pitched 3 impressive innings for the Red Sox. Anil Lele (3H) had some very nice defensive plays. James Agabedis pitched well (3IP, 4K’s) and hit a two run home run in the 4th inning. The Cardinals had nice efforts by Ryan Richards (2H), David Lifson (2H) and Ari Roth (2H) as well. Richards earned the win in relief (3IP, 1R, 7K’s), while Connor Peek pitched solidly as well (3IP, 1R, 5K’s), helping to preserve the close win.
Phillies 0, Giants 12-May 18
The Giants quieted the red-hot Phillies with a shutout 12-0 on a beautiful afternoon at Upper Featherland. Brendan Walsh (4K’s), Will Dale (2K’s) and Ben Fasciano (2K’s) kept the Phillies bats in check all afternoon. Lars Hjerpe (3H), John Dale (3H), Chris Williams (2H) and Luke Orup powered the Giants offense. Charlie Murphy (3K’s) and Sean Carney (3K’s) kept the game close with solid pitching, supported by stellar fielding from Tino Tamburrini, Asher Martin Rosenthal, James Cook and Will Canavan. Justin Lombardi and Robbie O’Connor handled all the action behind the plate.
