Sudbury Minuteman Special Election Results

The Town of Sudbury has voted against approving the funds, but not overwhelmingly.

SUDBURY, MA—Sudbury has, in a close one, voted against approving the $145 million in borrowed funds to construct a new Minuteman High School.

Sudbury voted 127-103 against approving the funds.

A district-wide referendum was held Tuesday to decide the fate of the new Minuteman High School. A district-wide referendum was held Tuesday to decide the fate of the new Minuteman High School. The fate of the new Minuteman High School was decided, however, as voters across the entire district decided in favor of approving the $144.9 million in bonding for the construction of the school.

The district's 16 member towns took to the polls in order to decide the borrowing of the funds to construct a new school at 758 Marrett Road in Lexington.
