Sudbury resident graduates from Cotting School

Michael Vincent LaFond, Sudbury resident and son of Stephanie LaFond and Mark LaFond, graduated from Cotting School in Lexington on June 6 as a member of the 132nd graduating class. Michael received The Charles E. Cotting Award, which recognizes a graduate for their diligent pursuit of independence.

Founded in 1893, Cotting School serves students ages 3-22 with a broad spectrum of learning and communication disabilities, physical challenges and complex medical conditions. Its mission is to empower students with disabilities to achieve their highest learning potential and level of independence.
