Sudbury Resident Hospitalized in Early Morning Crash

The closed Woodside Road early Thursday morning after a one-car accident.

According to Lt. Scott Nix, the female driver of the car struck a telephone at about 2:09 a.m.

The driver, identified only as a Sudbury resident, suffered non-life-threatening injuries. She was transported to MetroWest Medical Center in Framingham. The car was towed from the scene.

Police closed the road so a utility crew could fix the pole.

The cause of the accident was unknown as of 10 a.m. Thursday.
