Sudbury Town Center Construction Expected to Start by End of October, Say Planners
A meeting was held recently to discuss the timeline of the town center construction.

On Sept. 26, the DPW and contractors met to coordinate the events connected with the town’s planned reconstruction of Sudbury Town Center.
Currently, the DPW is completing the detention basin at 15 Hudson Road, and installing drainage improvements at Heritage Park.
“Residents will be noticing Dig Safe markings for underground utility lines on pavement areas in the Town Center in the next few weeks, as well as survey crews in the area as construction commencement nears.”

As reported on the town’s website, major construction activities are expected to begin in late October. Activities requiring lane closures will take place between 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Electronic and other signage will be used to notify residents of the start dates, and detours may be necessary and will be coordinated by the Sudbury Police Dept. Construction will continue until the winter weather appears in December, and will suspend until early to mid-March of 2015. All construction is expected to be completed by early summer 2015.
