Richard H. Davison, retired since December of 2015 from the Sudbury Foundation, will serve as this year’s Parade Marshall. The parade will last approximately 1.5 hours and highlights include: firetrucks; antique vehicles; fyfe and drum units; bands; commercial, community, and neighborhood floats; agricultural displays; local politicians; and local Scouts. At least 16 different bands will be part of the parade. Featured marchers will include the Sudbury Companies of Militia & Minute, a group devoted to interpreting the Colonial Period of American history. Horses bring up the rear, leading the Wayside Inn Coach. Sudbury natives Bruce Marshall (Bruce Marshall group) and Alan Goodrich (Alan and the Alligators) will perform during the parade.
