Residents and drivers take note. Here are the road closures for the holiday weekend.

SUDBURY, MA—On Monday, July 4, at 1 p.m., Sudbury’s annual 4th of July parade will kick off.

According to the town's announcement, beginning with the annual 4th of July Road Races, Concord Road will be closed between Morse Road and Plympton Road at the beginning of the two races which start at 8:30 a.m. and 9 a.m. The road will only be closed long enough to get the participants off of Concord Road onto the secondary streets. Expect delays in this area until the conclusion of the road races. Avoid this area of Concord Road if possible.

For the parade itself, participants will begin assembling at Chiswick Park off of Union Avenue at 12:00 PM. Union Avenue will be closing at 12:45; only parade participants will be allowed to enter. Beginning at 12:45 PM, just prior to the parade, the following roads will be closed as well: Boston Post Road (Route 20) from Nobscot Road to Landham Road, Concord Road from Boston Post Road to Plympton Road, and Route 27 from Water Row to Peakham Road.
