Wolbach Farm In Sudbury Announces Its Summer Programming

Plus, this beautiful property is open to the public daily, dawn to dusk.

SUDBURY, MA—Looking for meaningful summer experiences?

Sudbury Valley Trustees (SVT) is serving up a plate of summer programming at the nonprofit land trust’s Sudbury headquarters at Wolbach Farm. Wolbach Farm, located on Wolbach Road in Sudbury, has beautiful woodland trails with storybook trail, barn, meadows and lawns, picnic area and perennial gardens. Not only is there specific programming and events, the property is open to the public daily, dawn to dusk.

A four-week Summer Yoga in the Barn series begins Thursday evening July 19. Participants experience an all-level Vinyasa flow class while enjoying the breeze through the open barn doors and sounds of nature during the practice. The classes are taught by Marge Bacon of Southborough, and incorporate movement and meditation. Marge modifies the class to all levels, but some yoga experience is required. Class will be held July 19, July, 26, Aug. 2 and Aug. 9 from 7-8:30 pm. Price is $40 for the series, $20 for SVT members.

Learn more about the night sky at a Summer Star Watch on Saturday, July 21, at 8 p.m. with members of the Skylight Astronomical Society of Stow. You will have the opportunity to go between a variety of telescopes set up in the field and on the barn deck. Delight in viewing planets, the moon, and even distant galaxies, with experts on hand to answer questions. Light refreshments served in the barn. All ages welcome. Admission is $10 per person, free for SVT members.
