Goodnow Library Presents The Wolverines Jazz Band

The Friends of the Goodnow Library will host the Wolverine Jazz Band at 3:00 pm January 10 in the Community Room at the Goodnow Library, 21 Concord Road, Sudbury.

The Wolverine Jazz Band has been playing in the Boston area since 1995 and is a feature on the Jazz festival circuit; playing in Arizona, Washington, Ohio, Tennessee, Florida and Colorado. The group appears annually at the Bar Harbor summer music festival and has performed three times at the University of New Hampshire’s Traditional Jazz Series. The group is working on its 14th CD.

While the Wolverine Jazz Band’s focus in on traditional jazz and Dixieland, they also play swing dances.

Refreshments will be offered after the performance.
