2015 Dog Licenses Now Available
The deadline to purchase 2015 dog licenses is the end of the month.

The Swampscott town clerk has 2015 dog licenses for issue and you have until Jan. 31 to purchase them without incurring a late fee.
Licenses expire on Dec. 31 of each year and residents have until Jan. 31 of the following year to purchase new licenses. Dog owners are required to purchase licenses for every dog in the household over 6 months of age.
Licenses cost $10 for spayed/neutered dogs, $25 for intact dogs, and $50 for a kennel. A $5 late fee will be levied for each license purchased after Jan. 31, and the dog officer will issue “Failure to License” citations with a fine of $25 after Jan. 31.
