1) Newsbit of the Day:  Musician Mike Rydock, a singer songwriter from Pennsylvania, will perform at the Swampscott Farmers Market. It's a volunteer gig. He is performing for free at the town market, which is Sunday at Swampscott High in the parking lot from 10 am to 1 p.m.
