• Swampscott Police Active Investigation At Stop & Shop Parking Lot (patch.com) — Police are investigating a sensitive incident at the Stop & Shop parking lot on Paradise Road in Swampscott, but officials say there is no threat to public safety. Swampscott police are working with the Essex County District Attorney's Office and are releasing few details because of the personal nature of the situation, directing further questions to prosecutors.
   

• Swampscott Save The Glover Preservation Campaign Gets $16K Boost (patch.com) — Swampscott's Save the Glover campaign just gained $16,000 to help preserve the historic General John Glover Farmhouse on Salem Street, a rare Revolutionary-era landmark.
