Animal Control Officer Releases Caged Skunk

At 2:42 a.m., an unsecured door was found at the Hadley School.

At 9:07 a.m., a man reported that he heard a gunshot overnight and found a shotgun shell on his property in the morning. Nothing was struck.

At 11 a.m., a woman reported her tires had been slashed overnight.

At 12:40 p.m., a stray dog was reported.

At 2:42 p.m., a garage owner called to report a customer took a vehicle off the lot overnight after refusing to pay.

At 4:56 p.m., a report came in of someone seeking donations at Stop & Shop for a scam nonprofit.

At 11:23 p.m., a caller reported a wild animal caught in a cage. The animal control officer found a caged skunk caught in a trap set by the property owner. The animal was released.
