Bicyclist Struck by a Motor Vehicle, Wires Down on Truck: Police Log

SWAMPSCOTT, MA -

At 1:18 a.m., an open door was found at St. John’s Church.

At 9:10 a.m., the traffic lights at Tedesco and Salem were malfunctioning.

At 11:11 a.m., a person reported they could smell something burning.

At 12:58 p.m., a truck struck a tree and pulled wires down. The wires were reported to possibly be in contact with the truck.

At 4:04 p.m., a bicyclist was struck by a motor vehicle.

At 5:24 p.m., a caller reported that a person was sitting in the intersection at Humphrey and Salem. An officer arrived and saw a transit bus pulling away; the person was possibly waiting on the bus.
