Calling All Teen Poets: Win $150 in Swampscott Library Contest

The 11th Annual Lee Golomb Cadiff Teen Poetry Contest is open for teens who live or go to school in Swampscott.

Teens who live or go to school in Swampscott have an opportunity to win up to $150 in the Swampscott Library’s 11th Annual Lee Golomb Cadiff Teen Poetry Contest.

More than 300 poems were submitted to the poetry contest last year. With the contest’s increasing popularity, the Swampscott Public Library has raised enough to give 14 finalists between $40 and $150 awards. Two special prizes will also be awarded this year, one for best sports poem and one for best funny poem.

This year’s contest is open to students in grades 5 through 12.
