UPDATED: Guilty Plea in Child Rape Case
Robert Kincaid was sentenced to 6 to 7 years in state prison on Wednesday in Salem Superior Court.
Robert Kincaid, 40, pled guilty to four counts of rape of a child and three counts of providing alcohol to minors in Salem Superior Court Wednesday.
Kincaid admitted to raping two 14-year-old girls and providing alcohol to those two girls and another girl over a period of 8 months in 2009 and 2010 at his home at 55 Berkshire Street in Swampscott, said Carrie Kimball Monahan, spokeswoman for Essex County DA Jonathan Blodgett.

Judge John T. Lu sentenced Kincaid to 6 to 7 years in state prison, the spokeswoman said.
After Kincaid completes his jail sentence, he will be on probation for 5 years, she said.

During probation he must complete a sex-offender treatment program, have no unsupervised contact with children under 14 years old, stay away from and have no contact with the victims, and complete a substance abuse evaluation, she said.
Assistant District Attorney Michael Sheehan praised the work of the , particularly Detectives Ted Delano and Tim Cassidy and Essex District Attorney’s Office victim witness advocate Theresa Gay.
He also commended the victims for their bravery in coming forward. One of the victims provided a victim impact statement in court.
Kincaid was represented by Rebecca Whitehill.
