Driver Reports Kid Getting Dragged Into Car; Husband Forges Taxes

The following is an excerpt from the Swampscott Police Department's log:
Thursday, April 10
- At 1:39 a.m., police responded to a report of an unsecured window at the Machon School, 35 Burpee Road. It appears there was no entry.
- At 8:25 a.m., police responded to an MVA at the corner of Atlantic Ave. and Humphrey Street
- At 9:16 a.m., a resident called to report that copper piping had been stolen from 114 Norfolk Ave.
- At 1:36 p.m., a resident on Farragut Road reported that her husband forged her signature on state and federal tax returns and took the refund check.
- At 7:25 p.m., police responded to a neighbor dispute on Phillips Street
- At 8:19 p.m., a person called 911 to report that he was driving on Salem Street and saw a child getting dragged into the car, which then left. The caller reported that he was unsure if anything was wrong, or that the "child was acting up."
- At 11 p.m., a resident requested assistance with a raccoon in her garage on Nichols Street
