North Shore Orchid Society's next meeting will be held on Thursday, November 10, 2011, 7pm at The Senior Center, 200 Essex Street (behind Swampscott High School), Swampscott. We are pleased to have a presentation from First Ray's - home of Semi-Hydroponics distributors. First Ray's has over 35 years of orchid growing experience. The presentation will include: basics about semi-hydroponic culture, how to instructions, repotting, comparison of traditional concepts to hydroponics, and of course questions are always welcomed. New members are always welcomed! NSOS meets the second Thursday of each month to help you grow orchids on your windowsill or greenhouse. Come and enjoy refreshments, an orchid raffle and the members show table - orchids displayed by members for you to enjoy!
