Get Up Close and Personal with Symphony Music
Study the classics on a Monday night at the Swampscott Unitarian-Universalist Church. and on Wednesday night travel to open rehearsal of the Boston Symphony Orchestra with a world-class conductor.
Season at Symphony is about to begin its 32nd year, starting on Oct. 24.
This is a unique opportunity to attend four Wednesday evening "Open Rehearsals" of the Boston Symphony Orchestra with four world-class conductors.
Participants will meet on the Monday preceding each rehearsal to preview and study the classics which they will see "rehearsed" by the BSO that Wednesday.

The instructor and coordinator is William C. Sano of Salem. The four Monday evening preview classes meet at 7:30 pm at the , 101 Forest Avenue.
The "Open Rehearsals" are held on Wednesdays at 7:30 pm at Symphony Hall, Boston. Cost of the four tickets is $64 total. Course tuition and all arrangements are $50.

Optional transportation to Boston is provided by McGinn Bus Company at the cost of $11 a trip, and leaves from Forest Avenue at 6:15 pm sharp.
You may also drive to Boston if you wish. William Sano was for 34 years a music instructor in the Marblehead public schools and is conductor of the Concert Singers of Greater Lynn.
He is also on the faculty of the Salem State "Explorers.” Sano is also a vocal teacher, pianist, and organist in the Salem area.
